Sioux County Youth Fair Board garage sale April 27 at the Multi-Purpose Building on the fairgrounds from 8am -3pm. Donations accepted Wednesday, April 24 from 4pm -6pm and Thursday, 5pm-7pm and all day Friday, April 26. Call Teresa Pomerenke, 712-441-2628, if you have questions. Hope to see you Saturday. The Sioux County Fair Board will again be having a 4H Garage Sale to raise funds for the Sioux County Youth Fair on April 27 (during the Sioux Center city wide garage sales).  This garage sale will be held at the Multi Purpose Building on the Sioux County Fairground.  We are accepting all donations at this time.  Please contact Teresa Pomerenke to line up your drop-offs at 712-441-2628.

Supper tomorrow night at the Rock Valley Pizza Ranch…it is Tip Night for the Sioux County Youth Fair and our Rock Valley 4H Club is hosting it!  Please come and support our youth!  See you at the Ranch !

The Dodgeball Tournament has been cancelled due to lack of teams registered.  We will try again in the fall!

Come and support the Sioux County Youth Fair with a dodgeball fundraiser!

When:  Saturday, March 23 starting at 9 AM

Where:  Sioux Center High School Gym

Cost:  $50 per team of 10 players

Deadline to sign up:  March 12

Get your team together and sign up with your high school PE teachers.  This is for all high school students in Sioux County.  You won’t want to miss this fun!

Order Tickets by texting your name, address and number of tickets to Shelia Meyer at 712-539-8976 or email sheilam@groschopp.com.

Mail your check to Sheila Meyer, 556 7th Avenue NW, Sioux Center, IA 51250. Make checks payable to Sioux County Youth Fair. Tickets must be paid in full before they will be mailed.

Orders and payment must be received by December 31, 2012 in order to receive your tickets.

Help the Sioux County Youth Fair Board raise funds for the Sioux County Youth Fair, July 13-18, 2013. Don’t miss the opportunity to take your family out for a great event. The Fair Board will receive up to $5 for every ticket sold, so help us out.

Sioux County Youth Fair Board

The Sioux County 4-H Program invites all youth in 4th – 12th grade to join 4-H.  Youth not only learn and do great things in 4-H but there are opportunitites to meet new friends and participate in great leadership experiences.  The Sioux County 4-H program offers workshops, tours, trips, citizenship projects and awards to all 4-H members.

Sioux County 4-H’ers are involved in a wide variety of project areas from food, photography, art and animals to robotics and more.  So whether you are from town or country, there’s a place for you in 4-H.  If you want more information about 4-H or want to join 4-H, call the Sioux County Extension Office at (712) 737-4230 or email Cindy at clever@iastate.edu or check them out online at www.extension.iastate.edu/sioux/4h

We are excited for our NEW Little Miss Sioux County Competition this year at the 2012 Sioux County Youth Fair. 

Also–if you know of someone who would be a good candidate for our Sioux County Fair Queen, now is the time to nominate them!  They need to be between the ages of 16 and 18.
